Job Summary
Job Description:
-
Design and develop gear couplings disc couplings and other power transmission components.

Perform manual engineering calculations including torque stresses misalignment and fit/tolerance checks.

Create detailed 3D models assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

Support in the design of flexible couplings like gear disc composite and other special couplings.

Understand basic principles of rotary machines and apply them in product design.

Interpret customer requirements and prepare suitable design concepts.
-
Work with senior engineers to review and validate designs and calculations.
-
Collaborate with production quality and supply chain teams for manufacturability and cost-effective design with quality.

Prepare BOMs engineering documents and calculation sheets.
-
Support design changes product improvements and value engineering initiatives.
-
Manage multiple tasks/projects and ensure timely completion.
