Corporate Actions Processor
Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Manage the timely and accurate processing of corporate action events impacting client and proprietary trading desk security positions and entitlements.
- Liaise directly with agents and clients to validate review and notify on corporate action events ensuring data accuracy and timely information flow.
- Provide support and training to offshore vendor teams (Eclerx) as needed.
- Perform reconciliation of Corporate Actions and Coupons requiring diligence accuracy and coordination with other teams to resolve complex and high-value issues.
- Monitor and report key risks working closely with line managers to prioritize and identify potential loss-making breaks.
- Communicate with external agents and internal business units to handle ad hoc requests from various stakeholders (e.g. Client Service Groups Private Wealth Management Financial Controllers).
- Propose process and control enhancements collaborate with IT for implementation and participate in system testing to improve coverage and service.
- Maintain high attention to detail and time management in a high-volume high-risk environment with strict deadlines.
- Utilize analytical/reconciliation skills with proficiency in web-based applications and third-party information providers (e.g. Xcitek Bloomberg SWIFT).
- Display strong organizational skills ability to prioritize tasks and willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
