As a Horticulturist Trainee you will gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognized qualification in horticulture from our Frankston South location! We offer on-the-job training and mentoring in a friendly and supportive team environment. PPE clothing and tools provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting pruning weeding mulching and general garden maintenance
• Operate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery
• Learn to identify plant species pests and diseases
• Support the implementation of irrigation systems and soil improvement techniques
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work under the guidance of experienced horticulturists and supervisors
• Attend and complete all required training and assessments

About You

• Genuine interest in plants gardening and the environment
• Willingness to learn and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and capable of manual labor
• Reliable punctual and enthusiastic
• No prior experience required just a great attitude!
