Options Trader

As we expand and strengthen our presence in Asian markets we are looking for an experienced Options Trader to join our Taiwan-focused trading team.
You will play a key role in trading Taiwan index and equity options (e.g. TXO) working in a highly collaborative environment with access to best-in-class systems deep liquidity and a progressive risk appetite. Alongside trading you will contribute to improving our strategies execution quality and system robustness in a fast-paced automated trading environment.

What youll do:

• Actively trade Taiwan index and equity options managing positions and risk in real time
• Analyse market flows volatility dynamics and microstructure to identify and capture trading opportunities
• Continuously refine pricing execution and risk management approaches to improve trading performance
• Conduct post-trade analysis to evaluate decisions optimise strategies and drive systematic improvements
• Contribute to the development of tools monitoring and processes that enhance trading stability and scalability
• Maintain clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders including but not limited to researcher risks and developers during live trading and high-pressure situations

Who you are:

• Proven experience as an Equity or Index Options Trader with exposure to Taiwan markets (e.g. TXO) or similar equity derivatives
• Strong track record of trading performance and disciplined risk management
• Deep understanding of options theory volatility and market microstructure
• Comfortable trading both systematically and with discretion when required
• Decisive under pressure with the ability to quickly diagnose and act on trading problems
• Highly analytical detail-oriented and proactive in identifying improvements
• Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team-based environment
• Passionate about markets with a continuous drive to learn and improve

Desirable:

• Experience working with or alongside automated/high-frequency trading systems
• Familiarity with exchange rules market structure and participant behaviour in Taiwan markets
• Coding skills (Python R or similar) and ability to analyse large datasets
• Exposure to multiple asset classes beyond equities
