Whats the role
Youll support how Westpac prepares and shares its sustainability and ESG disclosures. Sitting within Investor Relations in Group Finance youll help collect analyse and validate data that underpins public sustainability reporting while strengthening the controls and governance behind it.
Working closely with teams across finance risk sustainability and data youll coordinate inputs resolve gaps and help ensure disclosures are clear accurate and ready for external release. Youll also contribute to peer analysis and support continuous improvement in how sustainability information is reported including mandatory climate disclosures.
This is a handson role where youll build practical ESG reporting experience gain exposure to senior stakeholders and contribute to highprofile publications such as Westpacs Sustainability Report.
This is a permanent fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements and some additional hours during peak reporting periods.
What do I need
Youll bring a proactive mindset and enjoy working with data and stakeholders with:
- Experience working in fastpaced crossfunctional environments
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using Excel
- Ability to coordinate inputs and manage multiple deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity and interest in ESG sustainability or public reporting
