How will your expertise help shape whats next

As a Power Generation Engineer with a focus on wind technology youll play a key role within Aurecons Power Generation team partnering closely with clients and colleagues to deliver wind projects with clarity confidence and care.

Youll be trusted for your technical leadership valued for how you collaborate and supported to influence outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert technical input across all stages of wind farm projects from feasibility and design through to construction and commissioning.
• Acting as Owners Engineer technical lead reviewing wind turbine supplier designs balance of plant (BoP) engineering and performance models.
• Developing and reviewing key project documentation such as technical specifications tender evaluations and risk assessments.
• Collaborating closely with environment planning and multidisciplinary teams to review wind farm layouts turbine siting access roads and electrical infrastructure.
• Supporting clients through technical due diligence design reviews construction monitoring and commissioning verification.
• Staying curious and up to date with evolving wind technologies regulations and industry best practice to deliver thoughtful futurefocused solutions.

What were looking for

We know theres no single perfect background. Were interested in what you bring your experience your perspective and how youve worked with others to turn ideas into outcomes.

Youll bring:

• Seven to fifteen years experience in a similar technical role.
• A strong understanding of wind turbine technology electrical systems grid connections and key civil or structural interfaces.
• A background in renewable energy or mechanical or civil engineering with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (IEC ISO) and regulatory frameworks including health safety and environmental requirements.
