Job Summary
Embassy Suites is currently seeking a Chief Engineer
The Chief Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining the propertys exterior and interior facilities including HVAC plumbing electrical systems general equipment and grounds.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility including physical building structure grounds all mechanical electrical HVAC systems and related equipment
- Preventative maintenance and repair of the hotels mechanical/electrical systems and equipment and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility FF&E grounds swimming pool etc.
- Monitor life safety systems and utilities and administer the department on compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local state and national codes and regulations to protect assets guests and associates.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required OR 5 years related experience and or training
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledgable of basic repair and maintenance skills including carpentry skills grouting painting caulking and blueprint reading
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
