Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Custom App Engineer to design and develop scalable custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building scoped applications Script Includes APIs and MID Server-based integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications (Scoped Apps) within ServiceNow
- Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with external systems
- Develop reusable server-side logic using Script Includes
- Configure and maintain MID Servers for secure and efficient integrations
- Work on API-based integrations (inbound & outbound)
- Customize ServiceNow modules using Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and implement requirements
- Ensure high-quality code with proper documentation and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications and integrations
Required Skills
- 4-8 years of experience in ServiceNow Development
- Strong expertise in:
- Custom Applications & Scoped Apps
- Script Includes & Server-side scripting (JavaScript)
- REST / SOAP APIs
- MID Server setup and configuration
- Experience with integration patterns and data flow design
- Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model
