Remote Korean Medical Interpreter

We are currently seeking experienced KoreanEnglish Medical Interpreters to join our growing remote this role you will support communication between healthcare providers and Korean-speaking patients through Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI).

As a medical interpreter you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate complete and culturally appropriate communication in real-time healthcare settings across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate real-time interpretation between Korean and English without omissions or additions
  
• Maintain strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare communication
  
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  
• Convey tone intent and meaning clearly while remaining neutral and professional
  
• Handle sensitive or complex medical conversations with professionalism and composure
  
• Demonstrate cultural awareness to support effective communication
  
• Maintain professional boundaries and follow interpreter ethics always
  
• Use video and audio platforms efficiently and resolve minor technical issues when needed
  
• Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining excellent service
  
• Participate in ongoing training and continuous skill development
  

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of medical interpretation experience
  
• Experience with VRI and/or OPI is preferred
  

Language Proficiency

• Native-level Korean
  
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher)
