Job Summary
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with strong exposure to civil criminal commercial arbitration and regulatory matters. The candidate should be capable of independently handling high-stakes litigation drafting complex pleadings arguing matters before courts and coordinating with senior counsel and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Court Appearances
- Appear before the Supreme Court of India Bombay High Court Sessions Courts Magistrate Courts NCLT and NCLAT
- Independently argue civil criminal commercial and arbitration matters
- Handle matters involving special statutes including IBC PMLA MPID POCSO SFIO EDCBI and CrPC
- Manage court compliance filings and procedural requirements
Drafting & Documentation
- Draft and vet:
- Special Leave Petitions (SLPs)
- Writ Petitions
- Appeals (First & Second)
- Criminal Revision Applications
- Interlocutory & Miscellaneous Applications
- Written Statements Statements of Defence
- Complaints Legal Notices Replies
- Arbitration pleadings and enforcement petitions
- Commercial suits and agreements (JV Development Settlement Trademark matters)
- Draft responses to government and statutory authorities such as MHADA CIDCO Municipal Corporations
Advisory & Strategy
- Conduct advanced legal research on complex and novel legal issues
- Assist in formulating litigation strategy for high-value and sensitive matters
- Brief and coordinate with Senior Advocates and external counsels
- Handle client conferences and provide litigation updates and advice

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- LL.B (Mandatory)
- Enrolled with State Bar Council
- Certifications in corporate/financial crime or mediation preferred

- Strong drafting research and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently handle matters end-to-end
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strategic thinking and analytical ability
- Client-focused and detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of legal tech tools is a plus
