Job Summary
Job Title: Manager Procurement & Production Planning
Role Overview:
Manage end-to-end procurement production planning and manufacturing operations in a high-volume setup (1.8L orders/month) with a hybrid model (in-house third-party). Focus on cost optimization inventory control wastage and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Plan procurement of RM & FG based on 6K daily orders
- Maintain optimal inventory; avoid stockouts & overstocking
- Drive production planning capacity utilization and scheduling
- Manage job orders WIP and output tracking
- Coordinate with factory teams and balance in-house vs third-party production
- Handle vendor onboarding negotiation and performance tracking
- Manage BOM updates formulation changes and cost impact
- Control wastage & expiry (FIFO/FEFO batch tracking)
- Oversee PO lifecycle and procurement operations
- Drive cost savings and process efficiency
- Ensure compliance documentation and audit readiness
- Track KPIs and provide actionable insight
Requirements
- Experience in procurement / production planning / supply chain
- Exposure to high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong skills in inventory vendor management and cost control
