DESCRIPTION:
As a Compliance Specialist II youll ensure international trade operations comply with complex regulatory requirements while enabling our mission to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll work collaboratively across functions to drive trade compliance excellence through policy implementation transaction monitoring and process improvements.

Youll manage day-to-day import/export activities including classification screening licensing and documentation while providing guidance to internal teams. The role requires strong analytical skills to review complex regulations resolve compliance issues and identify process improvements. Youll maintain accurate records conduct audits and generate compliance metrics while building productive relationships with customs authorities freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or related experience
Preferred Fields of Study: Business International Trade Supply Chain Management or related field
Additional relevant certifications preferred (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist Certified Trade Compliance Specialist)
Knowledge of import/export regulations customs procedures and trade agreements
Understanding of product classification (HTS ECCN) and licensing requirements
Proficiency with trade compliance systems and Microsoft Office suite
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and global trade management software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience conducting compliance audits and implementing corrective actions
Knowledge of regulatory agencies and ability to manage government relationships
Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed
