Job Summary

This position involves the provision of ambulatory team-based and comprehensive academic family medicine care including clinical supervision of medical learners. Academic responsibilities will include the training and evaluation of family medicine residents and medical students while contributing to the academic development and administration of the Dalhousie University Department of Family Medicine. An interest in academic leadership will be considered an asset for this position.
 

The successful candidate must have CFPC certification or equivalent and be a current and ongoing member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada or a current member of an equivalent group. The successful candidate must also be eligible to obtain a full license to practice in Nova Scotia. Favourable consideration will be given to applicants with evidence of advanced academic competencies such as relevant certificates or postgraduate degrees.


Qualifications :

Academic rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience with the appointment anticipated to commence as early as May 2026.
