Job Description:
Must be within 2 hrs drive of Richmond VA. Although majority of work will be remote they must be close enough to drive in for occasional ON SITE meetings and special events when required.

• Oracle Application database administration version 19 - Required 5 Years
• Experience with Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24 with workflow - Required -5 Years
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 running in Linux environment -Required - 5Years
• Oracle database upgrade experience Required-5 Years
• Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) System Administration Required 5 Years
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS Required 5 Years
• Experience with Oracle database maintenance patching/upgrades creating Oracle service requests resolving issues promptly Required 5 Years
• Experience with the Oracle database job scheduler Required 5 Years
• Strong understanding of RDBMS principles Oracle database related best practices Required 5 Years
• Demonstrated the ability to work independently effectively communicate with team members and provide accurate and realistic effort estimates Required 5 Years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills Required 5 Years
• Ability to create clear and usable technical and non-technical documentation- Required- 5 Years
• Experience with writing scripts to perform routine data loads Required 5 Years
• Experience with SQL PLSQL Required 5 Years
• A good understanding of software development life cycle and experience with waterfall and/or agile SDLC methodologies Required 5 Years
• Experience with deploying changes for APEX applications Desired 5 Years
• Some experience with designing Oracle solutions and software development Desired - 5Years
• Experience with migrating Oracle EBS APEX Applications and databases from on-prem Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) servers to Cloud    - Desired 5 Years
• Experience with Unified Auditing is a plus - Nice to have- 2 Years
• Experience within healthcare environment - Nice to have        

About The Role

• Oracle Database & System Administrator to support the DMAS accounting system Oracle EBS (GL AP AR) and the 25 Oracle APEX applications and the underlying Oracle Databases. This includes quarterly security patching system and database upgrades problem resolution and deployments. This role requires knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle database features. Experience with applications developed using Oracle APEX versions 21and 24 and workflow features. This position may require some night and weekend work due to patching.
