iOS Engineer

YOUR MISSION

We are hiring for multiple teams at Glovo with diverse scopes User Acquisition Flow Courier Fraud mitigation Order Dispatching system payments etc. We are looking for someone that raises the bar in the team leading initiatives being a technical reference for other engineers and mentoring them

• Be a part of a cross-functional team working closely with backend and frontend engineers
• Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles
• Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows
• Own your deliverables from start to finish
• Deliver high-quality solutions

• Mentor and empower other developers around you

Qualifications :

What You Bring to the Ride

• Computer Science or similar degree
• 4 years of relevant full-time experience
• Strong Swift skills and working with XCode
• Knowledge of iOS SDK
• Understanding of reactive programming 
• Understanding of AutoLayout and ability to create UI from code
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture
• Ability to write good unit tests is a must
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture algorithms optimization automation scalability etc.)
• Fluent communication in English
• Nice-to-have Experience with Full stack technologies (Java/Kotlin)
• Nice-to-have Participation in open source projects
• Nice-to-have Basic knowledge of O11y (DataDog Grafana) Crash reporting on iOS
