Job Summary
- Job Title - Laboratory Instrumentation Manager
- Job Type - Temporary - expected 12 months
- Location - Cambridge - 5 days per week on site
- Salary - Starting from 34000 pa

Overview of the role:
- To manage the maintenance and operation of instrumentation in the laboratory to enable high standards of analytical performance ensuring that requirements of ISO 17025 are met
- Manage lead and support a team of analysts within the instrumentation room - driving compliance and continuous improvement
- Demonstrate compliance with company approved test methods procedures and quality systems by maintaining organized and auditable systems
- Oversee calibration of equipment and quality requirements are met in the department
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had experience in GC-MS and LC-MS within a food lab setting.
You will also have the following:
- Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Understanding of food testing methods
- Experience in leading a team
- Proficient in the use of LIMs
- Full driving license for use in the UK
