Laboratory Instrumentation Manager

• Job Title - Laboratory Instrumentation Manager  
• Job Type - Temporary - expected 12 months 
• Location - Cambridge - 5 days per week on site 
• Salary - Starting from 34000 pa 
• Industry - Health & Nutrition - Food 

Overview of the role: 

• To manage the maintenance and operation of instrumentation in the laboratory to enable high standards of analytical performance ensuring that requirements of ISO 17025 are met
• Manage lead and support a team of analysts within the instrumentation room - driving compliance and continuous improvement 
• Demonstrate compliance with company approved test methods procedures and quality systems by maintaining organized and auditable systems
• Oversee calibration of equipment and quality requirements are met in the department

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had experience in GC-MS and LC-MS within a food lab setting. 

You will also have the following: 

• Degree in Chemistry or related field 
• Understanding of food testing methods 
• Experience in leading a team 
• Proficient in the use of LIMs 
• Full driving license for use in the UK
