Strategic Purchasing Manager – EMEA region
Job Summary
As a Strategic Purchasing Manager for the EMEA region you will be responsible for shaping and executing procurement strategies for construction projects and facility management services while driving supplier excellence and contributing to a modern digital purchasing organization.
Your tasks:
Managing end-to-end procurement processes for construction and facility management services
Developing and implementing purchasing strategies using advanced negotiation methods
Coordinating regional sourcing activities and ensuring timely procurement
Managing supplier portfolio and leading sourcing and award processes in line with standard procedures (e.g. Procure2Pay)
Contributing to international bundling initiatives and leading global projects
Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement and contract-related topics
Monitoring market trends and driving digitalization including the use of AI-based tools
Qualifications :
University degree in architecture civil engineering industrial engineering business administration (focus on construction) or a related field
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing ideally in construction and facility management services (IFM/TFM)
Strong negotiation skills and experience with strategic sourcing methods
Good understanding of contract law and construction markets
Experience in project management in an international environment
Strong analytical skills and structured working style
High affinity for IT tools and digital solutions
Confident proactive personality with strong communication skills
Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel
