An exciting position has become available for a Food Service Team Leader to oversee the Food Service Department reporting to the Catering Manager.

Enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate proven experience in a management role a commitment to patient care and customer service are encouraged to apply.

About the role

As a Food Service Team Leader your responsibilities for the day to day running of the department will include:

• staff management
• resource allocation
• ordering/procurement
• food safety
• quality and functional supervision
• providing leadership and direction to the team to compliment the strategic direction operational processes budget and business direction of the hospital

This full time role is Monday to Friday midday to 8pm.

Were looking for

• Experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a kitchen or a Healthcare facility or hotel
• Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
• Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
• Highly developed interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Manage rosters staffing and supervision of staff
• Handle enquiries and resolve complaints
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Suit experienced hospitality supervisor.
