Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lighting Project Manager Assistant to support our electrical lighting PM team. The right candidate will bring a solid understanding of commercial lighting scopes material lists and project coordination fundamentals and will be confident managing priorities and communicating across all phases of a project.
This is an in-office role reporting to the Project Manager Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the electrical lighting PM with day-to-day project coordination tasks
- Review and interpret customer purchase orders and ensure accuracy against project scope
- Track and communicate project schedules and priority shifts across all phases of commercial lighting work
- Monitor material needs and assist with managing typical commercial lighting material lists
- Coordinate internal communications to keep project milestones on track
- Flag scheduling conflicts scope changes and delivery issues proactively
- Maintain organized project documentation and assist with reporting as needed
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of commercial electrical lighting scope of work and typical material components
- Ability to read and understand customer POs and project documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Self-directed and confident working independently with minimal oversight
- Prior experience in an electrical construction or project coordination role preferred
Benefits and Compensation
- Pay rate: $23$26/hr depending on experience
- MondayFriday schedule consistent in-office hours
