Job Overview:
This role is focused on supporting mechanical engineering efforts within a manufacturing environment. The position involves contributing to equipment performance process improvements and operational efficiency rather than product design. The engineer will work on moderately complex mechanical challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams and receiving guidance from senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing and resolving mechanical issues impacting production operations
• Support the development testing and improvement of mechanical and electromechanical systems and equipment
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Partner with maintenance and production teams to optimize equipment performance
• Participate in project execution including coordination with internal teams and external contractors
• Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot maintain and improve manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Background working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Hands-on experience with production systems and maintenance processes
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating with contractors or maintenance personnel
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives
