Job Summary

Love the road and thrive in high-energy environments This opportunity is built for experienced electricians with a controls background who are ready to lead crews on mission-critical commercial refrigeration and critical power projects across the country. If youre a hands-on leader who can manage a job site troubleshoot controls systems and keep projects moving under tight deadlines this role puts you at the center of large-scale commercial refrigeration installations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead crews of 4 electricians and apprentices on active job sites ensuring quality safety and on-time delivery
  • Oversee and perform hands-on work on commercial refrigeration controls panels and cooler/freezer systems in large retail environments
  • Troubleshoot industrial controls automation systems and PLCs
  • Read and interpret blueprints one-lines schematics and controls diagrams
  • Execute and supervise electrical installations including controls panels and refrigeration systems conduit and wiring systems (24v DC to 480v) generator and UPS system installations and low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Run bend and install conduit; pull and terminate wire in varied environments
  • Operate scissor boom and bucket lifts as needed
  • Maintain clear daily communication with project managers and office staff
  • Enforce safety compliance and quality standards across all job sites

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
  • 5 years of field experience in electrical construction or controls
  • Hands-on experience with controls panels and commercial refrigeration or cooler systems strongly preferred
  • Strong background in industrial/manufacturing electrical systems (24v DC to 480v)
  • Prior leadership or foreman experience proven ability to run larger projects and hit deadline-driven timelines
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (major plus)
  • Proficiency in blueprint schematic and controls diagram reading
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully committed to nationwide travel; must be willing to work up to 60 hours per week
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
