Human Resources Generalist

A leading automotive group is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join their Head Office HR team. This role focuses on industrial relations HR administration compliance and operational HR support within a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• HR Degree or Diploma (or related qualification)

• 35 years experience as an HR Generalist

• Strong Industrial Relations (IR) experience

• Strong administrative capability (detail-driven environment)

• Proven experience in HR policy drafting and implementation

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)

• Valid drivers licence

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• Payroll exposure (training can be provided)

• B-BBEE exposure

• Sage VIP Payroll experience

• MIBCO experience

• Automotive industry experience

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide HR and IR support to the business

• Draft update and implement HR policies and procedures

• Support payroll processes where required

• Assist with Employment Equity and compliance reporting

• Support Skills Development initiatives

• Assist with OHS administration and compliance

• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure governance standards

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to management
