Systems Technician Targetry systems

Your role

As a system engineer you will be part of our Training Team which is primarily responsible for planning and implementing training and customer demonstrations globally but also supports our customers with technical expertise related to our systems during larger exercises among other things.

In this role you will be the teams expert on our live fire product family Targetry. You will develop a deep understanding of how our products are designed and used in training and you will then put your knowledge into practice. This means among other things that you will support our aftersales and development organization with competence support installations and addition to Targetry you will help with other tasks such as giving delivery training for our customers representing the company at demonstrations and trade shows and designing and developing training courses.

The role involves frequent international travel estimated 60-100 travel days per year.

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to work effectively in teams and to take responsibility for your tasks with great confidence. You have a strong drive commitment and a proactive attitude and you take responsibility for your tasks being performed in the best way. You actively contribute to developing both yourself and our organization share your experience and have a clear desire to continuously update your knowledge of how our products are developed. With your positive attitude you will also represent our company in a professional and inspiring way at trade fairs and customer visits.

To succeed in this role we believe you have:

A technical education or equivalent work experience

Experience in planning and leading training or education activities

Fluent in English and Swedish spoken and written

Experience in giving presentations for both national and international clients

We would like to see that you have a military background as an instructor and experience of sniping and that you have previous experience with our products. If you have knowledge in networking it is also desirable.

The position requires that yougo through and be approved according to the security protection regulations in force at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification there may be a requirement for certain citizenship.
