Job Summary
Travel LPNs assigned to Maryland earn up to $2685/week including non-taxed weekly stipend
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety Corrections Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover MD. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time benefit-eligible Centurion employees.
TheEagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The LPNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
