Job Summary
Locum Physician - Hospitalist Opportunity in Irvine KY
Join a dedicated team at a 25-bed Level IV Trauma Center located in the heart of Irvine Kentucky. This facility provides comprehensive inpatient care delivering 24-hour coverage in a fast-paced and high-responsibility environment. As a locum tenens physician you will have the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations making a significant impact on their healthcare experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum inpatient hospital coverage.
- Deliver continuous 24-hour care serving as the sole physician on duty.
- Manage an average census of 14 patients with approximately half being swing patients.
- Handle unrestricted call coverage while not onsite including nursing home call responsibilities.
- Collaborate with 1 Physician Assistant for support.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (REQUIRED)
- Kentucky Medical License (REQUIRED)
- Kentucky DEA Certification (REQUIRED)
- BLS Certification (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
