Job Description:
The Therapy Supervisor supports the day-to-day oversight and supervision of therapy staff including the review of patient plans of care achievement of both clinical and administrative outcomes and professional and supportive services to clients in a safe cost-effective manner. The Therapy Supervisor will work in coordination with the Registered Clinical Team Manager to assure that the multi-disciplinary patient care plan effectively meets the identified needs of the patient and that documentation of function and safety are consistent and accurate between each discipline. The incumbent will also be responsible for field staff orientation training and education of all therapy staff.

What is Required
- Bachelors degree level or higher graduate from an accredited school with a degree in Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy (Masters Degree required)
- Current state license as a Physical Occupational or Speech Therapist
- 2 years of home care experience in therapy
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to execute therapeutic procedures and manipulate special equipment accurately and safely. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of both theory and practice in therapy fields so that Regional and Area Vice Presidents as well as Administrators and Branch Directors can reach out for advice
- Ability to make decisions based on incomplete information or from multiple viable options and initiating necessary steps to implement decision
- Ability to train and orient new employees including contracted therapy professionals shaping competencies and introducing Elara Caring processes and procedures
- Ability to ensure branch staff operates and delivers appropriate therapy services by giving clear instructions guardrails and guidance monitoring results and taking corrective measures in accordance with therapy objectives and available resources.
- Quickly become proficient in enterprise applications (Homecare Homebase Workday etc.) and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to convey information and opinions listening to others and checking for understanding responding in appropriate message and tone
- Ability to develop trusted relationships and networks leverage personal networks and relate across both supervisory and leadership levels
- Valid drivers license and insurance and reliable transportation to perform job tasks
