The Position
As the Access Medical Affairs and License-to-Operate (LTO) Lead you are a visionary servant leader and a core member of the Enabling Leadership Team reporting directly to the General Manager. You serve as the local guardian of medical independence and scientific integrity.

Your mission is to architect and catalyze a unified strategy that integrates medical excellence with market access and regulatory rigor ensuring we deliver better outcomes to more patients in the Philippines faster.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Market Access & Health Policy
Access Architecture: Design and lead integrated access strategies that navigate the complexities of the Philippine healthcare system and regulatory environment.
System Shaping: Actively influence health policy and value-based healthcare discussions to build more sustainable and equitable health systems.
Strategic Partnerships: Form high-level alliances with government agencies industry associations and Patient Groups (PAGs) to accelerate the delivery of innovation.
Value Demonstration: Catalyze the creation of local evidence and value dossiers that clearly articulate the medical and economic impact of our portfolio.
Medical Affairs & Scientific Excellence
Scientific Leadership: Serve as the ultimate local authority for medical decisions ensuring they are driven by robust data and a deep Patient-First focus.
VACC Coaching: Lead the medical organization as a Coach and Catalyst fostering an environment where medical experts are empowered to remove obstacles for patients.
Evidence Generation: Oversee local clinical trial activities and investigator-initiated studies to bridge global data with local patient needs.
External Engagement: Lead peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and medical societies to advance standard-of-care practices.
License-to-Operate (LTO) & Compliance
Local Integration: Act as the primary integrator for Safety Regulatory and Quality functions ensuring these teams work coherently to protect our License to Operate.
Medical Independence: Maintain the integrity of the Medical function by acting as the local delegate for the Pharma Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
Vigilance & Integrity: Safeguard the companys reputation by overseeing strict adherence to Pharmacovigilance (GVP) Clinical Practice (GCP) and local ethical codes.

You are:
Credentialed Expert: You hold a Medical Degree (MD) with current license to practice in the Philippines in compliance with local regulations.
Strategic Leader: You have a proven track record in inclusive VACC leadership with the ability to lead through influence rather than just hierarchy.
Pharma Veteran: You bring extensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry specifically in Medical Affairs access drug development or clinical operations.
Access Mindset: You possess a strong understanding of the Philippine healthcare system and funding mechanisms; direct Market Access experience is highly preferred.
System Thinker: You are an Architect who can balance long-term people development with immediate business trade-offs and high-complexity decision-making.
Agile Communicator: You are fluent in English and excel at translating complex scientific information into clear strategic narratives for diverse stakeholders.

Important Requirements:
Conflict of Interest: To ensure full medical independence and comply with internal compliance standards the successful candidate must not continue active private medical practice while employed in this role.
Eligibility: This role is exclusively available to candidates who possess full eligibility to live and work in the Philippines.
