Our clients growing transportation company is seeking a Billing & Contractor Pay Coordinator to join their Finance Department at their Michiana-based corporate office. This is a full-time in-office position in a business casual environment (with jeans on Fridays).
This opportunity is a great match for someone with strong attention to detail and organization skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting. The role will begin with a focus on billing and settlements with the long-term opportunity to grow into a leadership role within specialty billing.
Job Duties:
- Review orders and invoice customers accurately and timely
- Submit invoices and Excel billing spreadsheets to customers for payment
- Maintain electronic filing systems for records retention
- Assist with customer account reconciliations and accounts receivable issues
- Review and finalize contractor/carrier settlements
- Support additional billing and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience in billing invoicing or payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on schedule with daily weekly and monthly tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
