Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety comfort and compliance with radiation protection standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort
Operate radiologic equipment safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Review images for clarity and accuracy before submission to radiologists
Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure
Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support efficient patient care
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report issues promptly
Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
Active Radiologic Technologist license (Massachusetts required)
ARRT certification required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 1 year of recent Radiology Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures positioning and radiation safety
Experience with PACS and EMR systems
Excellent communication organizational and patient care skills
