Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Travel Assignment
Location: Hyannis Massachusetts
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift & Schedule
- Evening Shift
- Hours: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Schedule: 5 Days per Week
- 40 Hours per Week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves performing high-quality radiographic procedures and supporting ultrasound imaging while ensuring patient safety comfort and accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation in compliance with safety standards
- Prepare and position patients to achieve optimal imaging results
- Select appropriate ultrasound transducers based on exam requirements
- Review patient history and clinical data to assist in accurate diagnosis
- Educate patients on procedures and ensure their comfort and cooperation
- Monitor patient condition and provide care throughout imaging procedures
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate labeling
- Maintain detailed and accurate radiology documentation and records
- Assist physicians with specialized procedures including needle biopsies
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment
- Adhere to infection control safety and regulatory protocols
- Support efficient departmental workflow and operations
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Registered (or registry eligible)
- Active state license (if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
