Work Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (7:45 AM 4:45 PM)
Location: Santa Rosa CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse to provide care in an outpatient oncology clinic setting. The ideal candidate will administer infusions manage patient care and support oncology treatments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies
- Perform port access and blood draws
- Monitor patients during and after infusion treatments
- Operate infusion equipment including Alaris pumps and CADD ambulatory pumps
- Assess patient conditions and respond to adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with oncology team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication management
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Minimum 1 year of oncology or infusion experience
- Oncology certification required (ONCC or ONS)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Certifications:
- BLS certification required
- Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) required
