Job Summary

Salary/Position Classification

  • $14.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

The Pride Center Student Marketing Assistant helps coordinate marketing and promotional needs for Pride Center events activities and engagements. This includes content creation graphic design and outreach.

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design flyers graphics and digital materials for Pride Center events and activities.
  • Create and manage content for departmental social media accounts.
  • Support outreach efforts including tabling events orientation and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with drafting and editing content for the Pride Center newsletter and blog.
  • Create and maintain a marketing and promotion calendar for each semester

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA2S identities and experiences.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Excellent written communication organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve creatively and effectively
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Canva Capcut Excel Microsoft TEAMS
  • Communication Marketing Graphic Design or Art Major
