Deputy Room Leader Pre-School Room Up to 30500

This nursery has been designed to feel open bright and easy to move through with each room set up to reflect the age and needs of the children using it. Outdoor space is part of the daily routine giving children freedom to explore and keeping the day varied and engaging. As a Deputy Room Leader youll support the Room Leader in maintaining structure quality and consistency within the room.

Before You Apply

This role requires recent experience in a nursery or early years setting.
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
Applicants must be confident supporting a room and stepping into leadership responsibilities when required.

What Youll Need

Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
Ability to support staff and children confidently within a room
Clear communication and teamwork skills

What Youll Do

Support the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room
Step into leadership when required maintaining routines and standards
Deliver care and education in line with EYFS requirements
Support planning observations and childrens development tracking
Maintain a safe clean and organised environment
Build relationships with parents and contribute to team consistency
