Job Description

Pay range for this position is $30.04/hr - $33.36/hr.

This is a mid-level position to work as a Material Handler. Applicants may be assigned any Material Handler Trade tasks but will initially be assigned to operate equipment including (but not limited to): receive/issue material at Warehouses and Facilities maintain accurate inventory operate fork lifts operate barcode scanners and operate hand tools (Banders etc.)

Required/Preferred Education/Training

Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
Previous fork-lift experience required with the ability to demonstrate proficiency at time of interview.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Required/Preferred Experience

Basic computer skills and use of barcode scanners.
Must meet the requirements of the Material Handler physical task analysis to include climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have a valid drivers license.
More than 1 year of warehousing experience preferred.
Previous BIW Material Handling experience or familiarity with BIW material Handling process preferred.
