AI and Cloud Solutions Architect with Generative AI, MLOps, and Enterprise Architecture

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced AI and Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Generative AI cloud platforms and enterprise architecture. This strategic role involves leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions designing scalable cloud infrastructure and ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge project management skills and leadership qualities to deliver high-impact projects that support Synechrons growth and digital transformation goals.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies (e.g. GPT BERT diffusion models) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch OpenAI API)

  • Cloud platforms: AWS Azure or GCP with experience deploying and managing AI solutions

  • Project management tools: Jira Confluence MS Project or similar

  • Architecture design tools and best practices for scalable distributed AI systems

• Preferred:

  • Containers and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)

  • Data management and data lake solutions (Snowflake Databricks)

  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins GitLab CI/CD

  • Data science tools: Jupyter MLFlow

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to plan develop and deploy AI-powered solutions that align with enterprise goals.

• Define and maintain a comprehensive AI and cloud technology roadmap in line with strategic business objectives.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across teams involved in AI model development deployment and governance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities define project scope and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies for adoption to maintain competitive advantage.

• Oversee architecture design for scalable secure and compliant AI systems in cloud environments.

• Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and ensure effective procurement and integration of tools/services.

• Track project progress evaluate outcomes and implement continuous process improvements.

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Required: Python (TensorFlow PyTorch OpenAI API) Java (preferred for enterprise integration)

  • Preferred: Additional languages such as Scala R or Julia for data science and ML model development

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Required: Data management in cloud ecosystems knowledge of data lakes and big data platforms (e.g. Snowflake Databricks)

  • Preferred: NoSQL databases distributed data storage solutions

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Required: Cloud deployment and management (AWS Azure GCP) for AI model hosting and scalable infrastructure

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Required: TensorFlow PyTorch OpenAI APIs MLFlow for model management

  • Knowledge of data privacy standards (GDPR CCPA) and security controls affecting AI solutions

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in AI cloud solutions and enterprise architecture.

• Proven track record leading AI projects from conception to deployment in large-scale environments.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams comprising data scientists engineers and architects.

• Hands-on experience deploying AI models on cloud platforms at scale.

• Industry experience in finance banking or regulated sectors is preferred.

• Alternative: Extensive experience in AI/ML solution architecture with demonstrated leadership in technology-driven projects.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead the design development and deployment of AI models and cloud infrastructure.

• Guide teams through model training evaluation and production rollout.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and translate business needs into technical architectures.

• Monitor AI system performance security and compliance metrics making adjustments as needed.

• Develop and maintain a strategic vision for AI and cloud adoption within the organization.

• Conduct research on emerging AI trends tools and frameworks evaluating their applicability.

• Coordinate vendor relationships manage budgets and oversee procurement processes.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing mentorship and technical training for team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or a related field.

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect) and AI/ML (TensorFlow Azure AI Engineer) are preferred.

• Demonstrable experience in deploying enterprise AI solutions at scale.

• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.

• Strong analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
