Forklift Operator

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Forklift Operator on a temporary basis for the summer months (May October) on our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team. This position requires on-site work at our Lumber and Building Materials Distribution Facility in Regina SK.

What youll do:

• Operates forklift to unload and transfer inventory ensuring safe stacking and compliance with safety standards.
• Verifies product matches packing slips and purchase orders documents inventory movement and manages quality control for damaged goods.
• Rotates product for FIFO (First In First Out) and organizes overflow materials to ensure easy access and documentation.
• Assembles and loads flat deck trailers for Local Co-op orders ensuring proper strapping securing and adherence to transportation safety regulations.
• Participates in safety meetings conducts equipment pre-checks performs light repairs and ensures proper wrapping and banding of outbound products

The Team: You will work closely with other Forklift Operators and report to the Supervisor LBM Distribution. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration support and safety.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

• Have 1-3 years of relevant forklift experience and working with wide loads. Experience operating forklifts with carrying capacity of 6000 lbs is preferred forklift training will be provided if required.
• Have a Valid forklift certificate. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Have manual dexterity to operate the forklift and the ability to lift over 25 kgs.
• Are familiar with lumber and building products.
