Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and specialized care to LGBTQAI patients or those patients living with HIV in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform comprehensive health assessments including medical history physical exams and risk evaluations
• Diagnose and manage HIV infection and related comorbidities including opportunistic infections
• Prescribe and manage antiretroviral therapy (ART) and monitor treatment adherence and effectiveness
• Prescribe and manage pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for individuals exposed to or vulnerable to contracting HIV
• Prescribe and manage gender affirming hormone therapy (GAHT)
• Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Provide preventive care including vaccinations STI screening andcomprehensive sexual healthcounseling
• Educate patients on disease management medication adherence and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including case managers pharmacists and behavioral health providers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives andmaintainaccuratetimelydocumentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Stay current with evolving treatment guidelines and best practices
