About the Role

Xtreme Aviation is looking for a Purchasing Agent to support our procurement operations and ensure we receive the best value for goods materials and this role you will work closely with vendors and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What Youll Do

• Review purchase requests and support ongoing projects
• Obtain quotes and compare pricing from vendors to ensure best value
• Analyze bids and recommend the best vendors based on price quality and reliability
• Create and process purchase orders
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery
• Expedite urgent orders including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) needs
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records vendor files and documentation
• Verify deliveries and assist with payment approvals
• Support reporting and ensure on-time fulfillment of requisitions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Assist with training team members as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience in purchasing procurement or supply chain (aviation experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to bend twist squat and move as needed
• Comfortable working in a hangar environment
• May be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection
