Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Aurora IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location you will monitor systems coordinate responses and support daily operations through clear communication and strong attention to detail. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities for a technology-focused location.
• Monitor dispatch systems phones radios alarms and/or cameras and communicate security-related incidents service requests and critical updates to on-site personnel in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Coordinate the flow of information between officers supervisors and/or client contacts helping to support timely responses to incidents maintenance concerns and other operational needs.
• Document calls incidents activity logs and/or dispatch records with attention to detail helping to support accurate reporting and follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed while remaining prepared to respond to changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles law enforcement and/or the military.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
