The Marketing Coordinator manages and executes assigned marketing and communications activities across multiple channels translating established strategies and priorities into effective timely execution. This role exercises independent judgment within defined guidelines to coordinate content production distribution and scheduling; manage systems and calendars; and oversee logistics for campaigns communications and events. Working in close partnership with marketing colleagues and internal partners this role ensures materials meet brand quality and accuracy standards and supports consistent efficient marketing operations. This position contributes to the effective implementation of marketing initiatives through operational ownership and established decisionmaking authority.
Qualifications:
:
- Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field or three (3) years of relevant experience in marketing social media content creation or a similar role*
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees vendors leaders and other community stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to work as a team member with colleagues and external partners
- Demonstrated experience in basic graphic design layout and visual content preparation
Preferred:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign Illustrator Photoshop)
- Photography shooting and editing skills
- Ability to conduct interviews and write articles about partners and donors

Essential Functions:
Strategy and Portfolio Leadership
- Manage and execute assigned marketing and communications activities across multiple channels including email web social media and print in alignment with established strategies and priorities
- Independently produce update and maintain visual and graphic materials (such as flyers social media graphics and print pieces) in accordance with brand standards exercising judgment on layout format and presentation within defined guidelines
- Determine appropriate timing sequencing and distribution methods for routine content preparing and scheduling materials to ensure accuracy consistency and timely delivery
- Develop and draft short-form content (including brief articles or written features) for marketing and communications use making content recommendations within established messaging and brand standards
- Complete photography coordination and basic image editing as needed to support communications materials selecting appropriate assets and formats for intended use
- Own and manage assigned content calendars contact lists and marketing platforms ensuring information is current and making prioritization decisions based on deadlines and organizational needs
- Coordinate and oversee logistics for campaigns communications and events anticipating needs resolving issues and communicating timelines and expectations to involved parties
- Ensure materials meet brand quality and accuracy standards prior to release identifying issues making corrections and escalating only when decisions fall outside established parameters
- Track and manage assets project timelines and deliverables for assigned initiatives adjusting plans as needed to maintain progress and meet deadlines
- Serve as a primary coordination point for internal partners on assigned communications efforts providing guidance on processes requirements and timelines while ensuring alignment with marketing standards
- May berequiredto complete other duties within scope as assigned.

Environment:
The primary work locationis1120 S. 101stStreetin Omaha Nebraska. This role is expected to work in the office with the occasional flexibility to work from home and regularly travels locally for meetings events and community engagement.
