Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of the day-to-day services at Childrens Health Ireland at Crumlin. This role will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Department with the duties of this role subject to change in line with needs of the services. The post holder will work as part of the Admissions Team in the front line patient service area of Admissions liaising with patients parents and staff throughout the hospital as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Leaving Certificate as a minimum or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years office experience and or 2 years customer service experience.
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications.
  • Proficient in keyboard skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • An ability to multi task in a pressured environment in order to meet strict deadlines.
