Job Title: Registered Nurse Pediatrics
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Work Schedule: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to work in an inpatient biobehavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate high-quality care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs in an acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient pediatric behavioral health unit
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patients and families with education and emotional care
- Float to other pediatric units as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and hospital standards
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 1.52 years of recent acute care experience in a similar setting
- Experience in behavioral health required
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Certifications:
- BLS certification required
