Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Work Schedule: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) (shift variations may apply)
Location: Akron OH
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support surgical services. The ideal candidate will function as a circulator with scrub experience preferred ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circulating duties during surgical procedures
- Assist surgical team and maintain sterile environment
- Monitor patient condition before during and after surgery
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment availability
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and OR staff
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact license required)
- Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience
- Circulator experience required; scrub experience preferred
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) required
