Manual Lathe Machinist Full-Time
Location: Larose LA

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist to support machining and repair of marine components in a shipyard environment. This role requires strong manual machining skills blueprint reading and attention to precision and safety.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3 years of manual lathe experience (non-CNC)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances and measurements
- Experience in industrial or marine environments
- Proficient with micrometers calipers and gauges
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipyard or marine experience
- Experience with large shafts or marine components
- Familiarity with manual mills or additional equipment
- Basic welding or fabrication knowledge
- OSHA or safety certifications
- Willingness to work overtime
