About The Team
Join our People and Culture team and play a vital role in supporting the Universitys people and culture priorities. The People Services Team delivers efficient compliant HR support across the employee lifecycle through strong partnerships that promote fairness engagement and excellence.
This is a 12month fixedterm fulltime opportunity within a collaborative and valuesdriven team.
Your New Role!
As a People & Culture Advisor youll deliver practical compliant HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. Working in partnership with leaders and teams across the University youll play a key role in delivering highquality HR services while contributing to strategic people initiatives and continuous improvement projects that support Murdochs culture and community.
What youll be doing day to day:
- Support our leaders and teams across the University by providing practical peoplecentred HR advice that supports an inclusive compliant and positive employee experience across the full lifecycle.
- Deliver accurate and timely HR services using Workday including contracts position and remuneration changes and organisational updates supporting efficient and transparent people processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and strategic people initiatives by identifying smarter ways of working and supporting projects that strengthen Murdochs culture capability and community impact.

This Fixed Term (12 Months) Full Time (37.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $91K $109K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What youll bring to the role:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field with at least two years relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of experience and training).
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial agreements with the confidence to interpret and apply policies Awards and regulations.
- Experience working with HR systems (ideally Workday) along with strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
- Welldeveloped analytical organisational and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships working collaboratively with leaders and teams while managing priorities and delivering highquality outcomes.
