Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient care assisting providers during examinations and procedures and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic workflow. The ideal candidate is adaptable organized and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations procedures and treatments
• Prepare patients for visits including recording vital signs and medical histories
• Perform basic clinical duties such as phlebotomy injections and specimen collection (as applicable)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
• Clean stock and prepare exam rooms; maintain medical equipment
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by providers
• Support front-office tasks as needed including scheduling and patient communication

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with EMR systems
