Job Summary
Job Summary $16.89/hr Our Facilities Maintenance paid internship offers hands-on experience in maintaining repairing and improving building systems and structures. Youll work alongside experienced technicians and staff to learn about general maintenance safety procedures and daily operations that keep our County buildings functional and safe. The schedule for this internship is Monday Wednesday and Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 runs from June 16th 2026 to August 14th 2026 with interns working a maximum of 24 hours per week. Responsibilities Gains knowledge in the repairs and maintaining of building systems including planning designing estimating and performing minor construction and renovation projects such as: wall framing and insulating; installing and finishing wallboard; installing doors and windows with locks and hardware suspended ceilings and various trims and moldings; painting; and installing carpet ceramic or vinyl floor tile or ceramic wall tile. |
Qualifications: Must be a rising or current high school senior or any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma. |
