Product Manager to Saab Surveillance

Your role

Are you an experienced engineer with a product life cycle focus and want to join our Product Management team We focus on the Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems business.

Airborne Ealy Warning and control portfolio consists of airborne segments like GlobalEye together with relevant ground segment and support products.

As a Product Manager your role includes the responsibility of planning and execution of tasks related to achievement of commercial success of the assigned products throughout the complete product lifecycle.

Your main tasks:

• Identify market opportunities based on end-user interests and needs market and industry trends and technology breakthroughs
• Work in the fields of life-cycle profitability competitive strengths and requirements for the product including all handling aspects during the products life cycle including sales support activities and phase out

The role involves both external and internal interactions. Externally this includes customer discussions and negotiations participation in the proposal process and definition of the unique customer product configuration. Internally the work includes close cooperation with marketing & sales support and engineering organizations.

Your profile

To qualify for the role you have the following:

• University degree as an engineer or similar work experience rated equally.
• Ability to drive the product portfolio progress and possess a high personal integrity.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
• Previous knowledge and understanding of the existing product portfolio are an advantage.

To be successful you are comfortable with customer discussions and negotiations as well as participation in technical design decisions. You can motivate and engage others but also be able to organize prioritize and take independent decisions to improve performance and profitability.
