Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a leading global provider of cutting-edge technologies and innovative services.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate business requirements related to EDC systems into clear actionable technical specifications.
- Gather document and maintain business processes data flows and system integration requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering QA and Operations) to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to system enhancements new feature development and integration initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify differences between current systems and new requirements.
- Support testing activities (functional regression integration) to ensure compliance with both functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation including flow diagrams data mapping API specifications and ISO8583 standards.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-deployment support addressing production issues and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with EDC systems or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system design principles.
- Familiarity with API integrations (REST/JSON) ISO8583 databases (SQL) and basic data modelling.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in software engineering is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
