Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Assist with the preparation of transportation impact studies functional plans and multimodal corridor concepts complete streets design and active transportation plansfor urban streets corridors and public realm environments.
• Assist with multimodal transportation network planning traffic operations and parking demand investigations analyses and recommendations report writing and site impact analysis.
• Provide support for project packages such as high-level AutoCAD quantity take-offs and Class C and Class D cost estimates etc.
• Support the preparation of graphics maps and presentation materials for planning and urban design studies.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
• Strong commitment to integrity consistently demonstrating ethical fair and responsible behavior
• Commitment to innovation and continuous learning with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements
  

Your Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled towards a bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or ArcGIS an asset
• Prior experience in preparing transportation studies and functional servicing reports a plus
